Concept

In the dreamlike installation art piece "Imprisoned Love," I employ the interplay of light and color to delve into the contradictions and struggles inherent in love and freedom, as well as the richness and intricacy of relationships.

I opted for Lumia Art, a dynamic artistic form that utilizes light and color to capture the essence of hues. Using highly saturated colors, I aimed to deliver a profound visual impact, portraying the moments of pain, romance, and confusion within love.

Additionally, the Pepper's Ghost technique introduces a dreamlike interaction of reality and illusion within the artwork. I structured the emotional narrative into three distinct stages: from rising star’s tentative to fiery fire-like passion, and ultimately to desperate shifts, hinting at the outcome of love that feels imprisoned. Through the flames in a glass cup, I intended to symbolize emotions that are both intense and constrained, offering a reflection of the profound struggles within the human heart.
