Introduction
This project is a 36-second PSA for Women In Tech organization. This organization promotes gender equality and encourages greater support from the audience. According to that, It aims to recognize and amplify the contributions of women in the tech industry.Concept
My concept is based on the brand identity of Women In Tech, with deep blue and aqua as the theme colors to create a strong technological atmosphere. The overall style is clean and impactful, emphasizing the contrast between form and space, while using graphic metaphors to convey the contributions of Women In Tech in breaking gender boundaries, driving technological progress.
Research
The 2017 drama Black Leather Notebook, adapted from Seicho Matsumoto’s acclaimed novel, tells the story of Motoko Haraguchi, an ordinary bank clerk who seizes control of her fate in a male-dominated world. After embezzling a large sum of money from her bank, she meticulously records every transaction in a black leather notebook—a symbol of both her crime and her power. Armed with this ledger, Motoko manipulates influential men and exposes the hypocrisy of a society driven by greed and desire. As she ascends the glamorous yet treacherous nightlife of Ginza by opening her own club, the story evolves into a sharp social commentary on ambition, corruption, and female agency. Through her intelligence and audacity, Motoko transforms from a victim of circumstance into a woman who rewrites the rules of survival.
